During the month of March, buy a limited edition 1/8th for $30 and a portion of the proceeds go directly to the La Plata County Humane Society. Each limited edition 1/8th comes with a complimentary sticker! Strains available in the limited edition 1/8th jars will rotate throughout the month, so be sure to check back for fresh options. The La Plata County Humane Society provides safety, food, medical care, and shelter to over 3,000 animals each year. LPCHS is an open-admission shelter and maintains 96% live release rate – this is well above the required 92% required for an organization to call itself no-kill. LPCHS does not call itself a no-kill due to the confusion and inaccuracy of the term. La Plata County Humane Society is committed to enhancing and protecting the lives of companion animals by ensuring the provision of sustenance, safety and shelter, educating the community regarding the humane treatment of animals, and preventing pet overpopulation.
